the Church Ladies for Choice were enormously popular, as usual; on at least one section of the route they managed to completely obscure and drown out a group of "anti's" who were heckling the marchers from the other side of barricades (the Ladies are notorious for inventive lyrics attached to familiar melodies, including the memorable one sung on this occasion, "you can't think for yourself because you haven't got a Dick")
