If you're within earshot of this post - and of the Zwirner gallery on West 24th Street - you still have a chance to see one of the most beautiful shows of the year: "Primary Atmospheres: Works from California 1960-1970" closes this afternoon at 6.

The ten artists included in this museum-quality show are Peter Alexander, Larry Bell, Laddie John Dill, Robert Irwin, Craig Kauffman, John McCracken, Helen Pashgian, James Turrell, De Wain Valentine, and Doug Wheeler.

Awesome.

Agreed, I caught the opening of this show and highly recommend it.
