wispiness

untitled (wispy) 2006

I'm lying low, trying very hard not to think about much of what's going on under these skies these days, but maybe I'll be able to do something in this space tomorrow.

Sunday, for a few hours, I floated on my back in a small manmade swimming lake in the NJ pine barrens. I just looked up at the wispy clouds and felt glad to be alive. I noticed some jets way up high which reminded me of the destruction which was raining from the sky over there. I have been reading “Horse Sense for People” by Monty Roberts. He is a gentle soul, the author. I recommend the book; it is soothing.
