the old Vinegar Hill

I'm pretty fond of the siding this nineteenth-century house in Brooklyn's Vinegar Hill aquired some time in the next.

Dear James,

Each day a surprise with messages from the art scene of
New York. Many thanks! The mixture of intellect and
intuition makes the reports interesting.

I used to hate this siding when I was young. Now, I like it -- and I feel sentimental. Nice reminder!
